Studying is always rewarding especially when it pays you even before you start earning. This may sound a bit strange but when you consider financial rewards in terms of low tuition fees, it is a vivid possibility.
But that is not all; ISBS is proud to announce its promotional scholarships and regional awards to qualifying and deserving students. This is just a gesture to show how much your efforts are appreciated by us, not just verbally but with something as tangible as money itself.
IELTS Promotional Award:
IELTS results are not required by ISBS for giving an unconditional offer to a student. According to minimum acceptable English levels as set by UKBA, any award that is acceptable by them is acceptable by us. Further to this, we have our own criteria and assessment methods to determine the suitability of a prospective student in terms of his/her language skills and abilities, where there is no compulsion imposed by any authority for English Language proficiency.
At the same time we do understand that IELTS is a very well structured and measured technique that helps determining abilities of a person in English Language. A prospective student of ours, who can present IELTS or other acceptable qualification at the time of application can in fact save us a lot of working and assessment of his/her application.
For all these reasons, we want to encourage our students to attempt IELTS or other acceptable assessment tests. As a measure of encouragement we are offering IELTS Promotional Award to students as follows:
IELTS Overall Bands 6.5 or equivalent - 5% off the First Year Tuition Fee*
* Applies to tuition fee for ISBS only and not to any fees payable to awarding body of that qualification.
High Achievement Scholarship:
After you have completed your first academic year at ISBS, your performance will be assessed by the awarding body. ISBS will also perform its own assessment of its students in terms of their results in exams, class participation, attendance and overall behaviour.
Students, who will obtain top 5 positions after this assessment, will also receive a scholarship from ISBS for the following year. This well could be continuation of a previous scholarship or something even better depending on how high you have scored.
Hardship Award:
Each year for a limited number of students, ISBS may announce hardship awards. Main criteria for this award are circumstantial hardship where a deserving student has suffered due to reasons beyond his/her control. This applies both to new and continuing students.
Just for an example, we may consider a student who has shown very good progress with ISBS, but may find it difficult to keep up with agreed fee payment due to sudden lose in financial support. ISBS may consider to award some discount in the fee to such a student on the basis of performance, remaining duration of studies in his/her course etc. ISBS might consider suspending a student's remaining balance due to us for a fixed period of time, should we judge that the adverse situation of that student is likely to improve in near future.
With a little variation the same applies to
first time applicants and overseas students.
